Sujil Sukumaran, from India, graduated from our Visual Effects program in Spring 2011, received his post-graduate work permit and has recently been hired as a VFX artist at Digital Domain Vancouver.

Digital Domain is one of many major studios who have opened branches in Vancouver, along with Pixar, Sony Imageworks, Prime Focus, MPC, and most recently Rhythm & Hues (who we were honoured to welcome for a visit to our campus today).  The VFX industry is currently booming locally which is good news for graduates like Sujil and his classmates.

Of his experience at VanArts, Sujil says, "Coming to Vancouver and studying at VanArts is the best thing that's happened to me!  Without the skills and knowledge I acquired from the instructors and fellow students, I would have never landed my dream job of working as a visual effects artist.  Anyone who is passionate about visual effects should consider joining VanArts because it is the best VFX school in BC."
