On Thursday, February 17th, VanArts received a visit and special presentation from local Vancouver animation studio Rainmaker Entertainment. Presenting to students in our Character Animation, Game Art & Design and Visual Effects programs were Director of Talent Development Tara Kemes and Recruiter/Talent Development Coordinator Yuko Shinyashiki.
Tara and Yuko talked about current projects at Rainmaker and explained the facts about how to apply to their studio. This was all great information for our students as graduation looms closer for many of them. Prizes were given out for correct answers to Rainmaker-related trivia questions at the end.
