Each year, the Ministry of Science and Universities provides British Columbia Student Loan (BCSL) default rates to all institutions in the province. The significance of the report is to indicate how a school and its grads are doing in respect to repaying their student loans, and in comparison with all other institutions in BC. We are pleased to report that for the 5-year period 2005-2010, VanArts’ default rate was 9.7% compared to an average of 23% over the same period for all private BC institutions with a similar number of student borrowers (58% lower).

This data reinforces the fact that VanArts offers industry-driven, media arts programs and our grads get hired! If you are considering a career in media arts, this is the time to get started.
