Columbia Academy at VanArts’ Broadcasting Department was pleased today to welcome guest speaker Thor Diakow, entertainment reporter for City TV’s Breakfast Television here in Vancouver. Thor spoke about his daily work as a broadcaster, the experience of being a professional film critic & reporter, and commented on his favorite movies. Students gained a great deal of valuable insight into the broadcasting world and what it takes to enjoy and find success in this field.
