Congratulations to our current senior Visual Effects students Harsh Mistry (from India), Esdras Prudente (from Brazil), and Thomas Bevan (from Seattle WA, USA) for winning First Prize in CGTantra’s Community Awards in the VFX War Category! These three students started at VanArts in September 2010 and are currently wrapping up Term 3 of the program.
Their short video entry defeated other entries from all over the world with this realistic plane crash. This was a very challenging shot to accomplish, but our students completed it all within a month outside of their regular class workload. Here is the winning entry!
