This is the only specialized course in Vancouver for the popular technique of stop-motion puppet animation, taught by author & animator Ken Priebe. Covered topics are stop-motion history, animation principles and inside tips on how to build puppets using wire, clay, latex and other materials.
This continuation of our Level I course focuses mostly on modeling in Maya, including shape deformation, basic polygons and UV mapping, lighting and photo-realistic rendering, and the opportunity to work on a project.
