After 31 years of operation as a private post-secondary institute, VanArts will close its Terminal Avenue campus on August 28, 2026.
We are pleased to announce that the VanArts name and legacy will continue at Vancouver Community College (VCC).
Beginning this fall, VCC will offer VanArts’ 2D Character Animation and 3D Character Animation programs through its Continuing Studies department. Looking ahead, VCC will continue exploring additional programming opportunities to meet industry and learner needs.
This transition gives students access to the resources and opportunities of a public post-secondary institution while continuing the creative training and industry-focused education for which VanArts has been known for more than three decades.
