VanArts is proud to announce our new department and full-year program for Web Development & Interactive Design. In Episode 17 of our 'Inside VanArts' web video series, we present this first look at our program.
Formerly taught at the Institute of Advanced Media (IAM Training), this 12-month Web Development & Interactive Design Diploma Program at VanArts is all about integration, and a focus on project management, client relationships, team development and skills specialization. Regular interaction with web clients and industry partners allows us to keep our finger on the pulse of current trends, new technologies and unique approaches to online business.
An important aspect of training at VanArts is the curricular integration of these industry representatives. During a student's first 3 terms of study, they are required to complete a minimum of two live client sites guided by project management instructors. Planning and development meetings with these clients are held during class times and in conjunction with their coursework.
Web Development and the interaction of multimedia and design is a major tool for any business to survive and prosper in the 21st century; from traditional business to education and the entertainment industries. Its study and competencies will prepare its graduates for many career and independent business opportunities within this exciting field.
