With the advent of digital photography comes a new field of study that in the past was left to professional labs and darkrooms – image processing. In this course, newcomers to digital photography will learn the basics of digital image files, the importance of colour calibration and skills in enhancing images for optimal final results. Adobe programs such as Bridge, Lightroom and Photoshop will be used in class, but development basics are universal and can be applied to most imaging software.
