Overview

The new Broadcasting for Radio & Television diploma program offered through Columbia Academy at VanArts is designed for individuals who want a career in the broadcast radio or television industry.

For four decades, the Columbia Academy of Radio & Television Arts provided quality education to thousands of students. When Columbia closed in 2011 many of its faculty and students came to VanArts to continue their teaching and studies. VanArts is proud to continue this great Columbia tradition of professional training for the broadcast industry.

Our students do the actual jobs done by today's broadcast professional. Through this unique educational approach, VanArts graduates are not only trained but experienced. Our in-house campus radio stations provide 600 hours of actual experience in an on-air environment.

Listen in to our Broadcast students LIVE on the air here on UStream!
