Davis and is now an integral part of VanArts. Our actors perform on the Big Screen, for television and on stage for audiences around the world.
Next Start Dates: Sept. 7, 2010 & March 14, 2011
The 9-month Diploma Program in acting for Film and Television, through small workshop-like classes, immerses you in the acting skills used by professional film, television and stage actors who take their craft seriously and love what they do. Here you will learn to unlock the potential in any script, and make your character interpretations as vibrant and memorable as you are.
At William Davis you will also explore your full acting potential in front of a camera, in live performance, in voice and voice over, and in physical training, developing trust in your physical and emotional impulses. You will participate as an equal creative partner in the creation of original short films and ensemble live performances, collaborating with experienced professionals who are directors, designers, writers, camera operators and voice over artists.
All projects at the Centre teach you the real conditions an actor works in. Our cutting edge program encourages, inspires and empowers you to take ownership of your creative and professional life. Above all it gives you the experience and the confidence to compete in the global acting profession. If you love acting and want to be the best you can be, we welcome you to join us here at VanArts.
