Photography is much more than just taking a picture! It has been referenced as one of the most influential forms of visual media. In recent years, the rapid development of digital technology has revolutionized the photographic industry. Through demonstrations, critiques, practice and projects, this one year, full-time diploma program is designed to prepare graduates for entry-level industry employment, or as studio, commercial and product photographers.

Since the vast majority of commercial photography has shifted to the use of digital technology, the program emphasizes the digital workflow of photography. At the same time, the program incorporates the fundamental elements of pre-digital photographic technique to ensure students develop the skills required to enter the commercial photography field.
