VanArts Officially Celebrates Its 10th Year Anniversary
VanArts staff and students took some time out of their busy schedules to formally celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the school on December 8, the day it was founded back in 1995. President Alan Phillips spoke some words of tribute to our founding director Lee Mishkin (1927-2001), as did our 2D Animation program director Charles Phillips, who took over for Lee after this retirement. Refreshments were provided and a toast given to VanArts and its achievements over 10 years.
The school has had a steady growth, starting out with only a few small classrooms and now occupying a recently-acquired 15,000 square feet! VanArts has added additional space to make room for our new intake in June 2006, as part of our plan to continue growing into the future.
