VanArts is proud to present a masterclass in Story Development & Animation, featuring instructors Matthew Luhn (Story Supervisor) and Andrew Gordon (Directing Animator) -- both from Pixar Animation Studios in California, USA.
This exceptional 2-day event takes place in Vancouver, British Columbia on September 26/27 in 2014, offering participants a rare and exciting chance to learn from the industry's top talent. It marks one of the few times a Pixar Story Artist and Pixar Animator will teach a class together. Bringing together two individuals like this is not easy, making it an incredible opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge in a short time frame, and at reasonable cost. Definitely not to be missed!
To make this session even better, we're adding a special guest instructor Peter Nash from Sony Pictures Imageworks, plus a social mixer event following the class. See details below.
Geared toward experienced professional animators, story writers, character designers, students and enthusiasts alike, the skill sets covered are not software specific. Lectures are organized with visuals, including live action and animated clips, supplemented by a printed workbook. This class provides you with the tools needed to help create your own stories and feature-quality animation, plus offers a great opportunity to meet and network with your peers and others in the industry.
This masterclass has toured the world to rave reviews, this being one of only a few stops in 2014.
