In this 2-day weekend session, dive head-first into non-linear video editing to put the polish on your digital video projects. Editing concepts are covered as well as an introduction to transitions, effects and simple motion graphics.

This series of intensive weekend courses is designed to introduce the fundamental concepts of video for DSLR photographers. Through classroom discussions, visual examples and hands-on workshops we discuss how to add DSLR video to a photographer's repertoire.
Each weekend session focuses on one of three essential aspects of video production and can be taken individually or as a full packaged series.
At the end of this course you will have more confidence in using your camera and equipment, an understanding of basic video production principles, increased skill in manipulating creative tools and a renewed excitement for what DSLR cameras have to offer. Whether you are an aspiring professional, a dedicated hobbyist or a weekend warrior, this course is sure to satisfy your taste for video production!

Scott brings great relevance to his training through patience, humour, and proven communication techniques to convey complex concepts in simple understandable ways. Scott is an active designer, blogger, administrator and video producer.
Equipment requirements:
Video-capable digital SLR camera with at least 1 lens
Memory Card
Pre-requisites: Digital Photography 101 or equivalent fundamental understanding of digital photography
Duration: Each session is 2 days, Saturday / Sunday from 9am to 5pm
Cost: $375 for individual sessions or $995 package for all 3 sessions
