Senior students in the William Davis Centre for Actors' Study at VanArts, fresh off their final performance project and just a few days away from graduating, got a visit today from William B. Davis himself, who spent the morning working with them on audition skills.
Our Acting students final public performance project, PLUNGE - a play by Christopher Kyle, was the most successful production ever for the William Davis Centre for Actors' Study at VanArts. Sold-out audiences filled the Havana Theatre on all three nights: November 4, 5 and 6, creating a record in revenue and accolades for the program. read more about Acting Performance a Big Success
Our senior Acting students have been fortunate to work with professional actor Dylan Neal this week, through direct teaching and mentoring for their scene studies. Dylan also showed them examples of reknowned actors' audition tapes and offered advice on how to approach an audition. read more about Dylan Neal Mentors Acting Students
VanArts has just been awarded British Columbia's Education Quality Assurance (EQA) standing. We're excited and proud to have received this offcial designation from the province, and believe it offers students a solid indication of the quality of both our institution and training offerings.
